Jungle Fever

Got deep down under the great diving range yesterday with Nathan Tyack, and a couple of other mates. All in all it was a boring day getting blood tested by mosquitos and struggling to get back before the sun went down. Me and my mate David got blown up at by our girlfriends for being late to go on little valentines dates, so our already crap day was made even worse. Was pretty hard shooting under such rushed conditions

Downside was obviously the rain and wind that has been hanging around the last few days.

Hopefully Tomorrow will get some better shots of some surfing

Waiting and only hoping for some waves, now that i've finished school i can already see some pretty boring days ahead of me until I find what I want to pursue as a career for the rest of my life. At the moment i'm basically sitting, driving around the coast bored as hell and on an extremely tight budget. Tomorow I will post some photos that I took from last year that were not posted at all.

Haven't had a working computer in quite some time, in the mean time have I have been taking pretty minimal photos.

Taking camera on every drive to check the waves - Surf or not

Last weekend went on a little camping trip to Ballina, charts were showing earlier in the week some good swell.

Myself, Photographer Nathan Tyack, Max Foerstor and Lloyd arrived to nothing but glassy ripples. Although we had one average day at south wall, most of our time was spoent fondling with local women and eating.

Max has been surfing really well lately and has excelled highly in the sport within the last 3 months even picking up a sponsor from Sunshine Coast Inverted. There will without a doubt be much more from max to come in the new year.

Its Been Really Long..

To long since i've posted

I have become extremely lazy in this burning heat, but then again the swell has decided to pick up at the worst of times for me.

My housing has been out of action for the last month, in the mean time i've been having a lot of fun surfing and graduating school.

Also purchased some new gear. An 80-400mm Nikkor plus a new 27 inch quad core iMac which i should recieve pretty soon.

Hopefully have some pictures up in the next week.

Went to the city with some mates, ended up being a rainy night and little to offer on the shooting perspective.



The charts are showing an increase of swell over the current week, hopefully bringing good waves, good times and good shots on the Sunshine Coast

Relief

Washed the dust off my housing this morning with an early wake up to 2 foot clean beachies
Only shot a few photos before venturing to school
Also tried some new editing stuff, so that explains for the orangy colours
It's been really overdue for swells on the Sunshine Coast in the past two months

But crystal clear days like this keep hopes up for pristine weather and swell.

Spent an hour of my afternoon shooting at the cove, the lens im using is a sigma 70-300mm
its in its best words a crap tool. Going to upgrade to a bigger and better optical quality lense when i come into some money.
So i really did not capture anything amazing

the sunshine coast is lacking in waves alot at the moment, decided to go to the beach this afternoon to shoot some bush and beach with the current boredom.

Not Happy

Recieved my pelican case in the mail yesterday
turns out they sent the wrong case and its huge. would not fit in most people cars and could eat dinner of it like a table.
sending it back to get a replacment of the model i actually purchased, unfortuneatly that's going to take up to 3 weeks for processing etc.
other than that recieved my copy Phil Gallaghers 'Le Boogie'
once again amazed by his work and some of the coast's photographers such as Ben Lee and Ryan Jones
